Indivisible Marin hosts dinners for our unhoused neighbors in Novato on the fourth and fifth Wednesdays of each month, together with our partner, Compassion Coalition. We are in need of volunteer chefs to contribute a main dish for 8 people on 10/28 or any of the other upcoming dinners this calendar year. Please fill out this form to sign up for any of the upcoming dates.
We select a nutritious recipe for each meal in advance - they are always easy to make and chosen for a large group. We need five volunteer "chefs" for each date. This is the recipe for 10/28 and we still need a three more chefs for that dinner.
Our guests are so very appreciative. The leader of Compassion Coalition, Jason Sarris, has told us that having community members actively wanting to help them gives them hope. Here is a great recent article about the Community Dinner program.
Thank you for your compassion and investment in our community! Please write us at indivisiblemarin@gmail.com with any questions.
