Ballots are in the mail to us and will arrive any day! Please consider doing your voting research and decision-making NOW to be prepared to vote as soon as your ballot arrives in the mail.
Man, we've been waiting to cast these ballots ever since the heartbreak on 11/5/24. NOW is our chance to win back Congress, so let's make the most of it by voting early and encouraging all our friends to do the same!
IndiMarin's Voter's Guide webpage is an excellent resource as you make your plan to vote and as you do your homework to decide how you will vote. Our goal is to help make your voting process as easy and efficient as possible.
GET READY NOW TO VOTE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
Doublecheck your voter registration status (leave nothing to chance)
Sign up for California's Ballot Trax to track your ballot every step of the way
Visit the website of the Registrar of Voters in your county for details on ballot box locations and early in-person voting options
RETURN YOUR BALLOT AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE IT
Secure ballot drop-off locations open on October 6.
We recommend using ballot boxes, if possible, since they are very secure and the earliest voting option.
If you do not live near a ballot box and/or prefer to return your ballot by mail, mail it no later than October 20, two weeks before the election. Go to a post office and wait in line to get a manual postmark to avoid a delay in it being postmarked at a processing center.
If you do not receive your ballot in the mail in a timely fashion, contact your county’s Registrar of Voters for guidance on obtaining a ballot promptly.
DO YOUR RESEARCH NOW TO BE PREPARED TO VOTE AS SOON AS YOUR BALLOT ARRIVES
Helpful resources include:
The Indivisible Marin Steering Committee’s California Ballot Endorsements including:
- All Statewide Propositions
- Judicial Retention Races for the CA Supreme Court and CA Appeals Courts
- Our endorsement of Jackie Elward in Assembly District 12
- Marin county-wide ballot measures
Our policy team has spent a significant amount of time researching each of our endorsements and the entire Steering Committee voted on the final recommendations. We explain our reasoning for each of our recommendations in the guide. However, we understand that among our large and diverse membership people will reach different conclusions about their votes and we fully respect all of those differences of views. Your vote, as always, should depend on your own judgement and priorities.
Blue Voter Guide lists a range of groups endorsing candidates and propositions. It also has a great tool to work on a draft of your ballot, save the results as you progress in your decision making, and print out your final choices as a cheat sheet to use when you fill out your actual ballot.
Below are other helpful endorsement lists from organizations we respect. These links represent a range of views and, in some cases, differ from the endorsements by the IndiMarin Steering Committee.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE AS EARLY AND AS SECURELY AS POSSIBLE!
We MUST take back Congress in November to put a structural block on Trump's efforts to destroy all we hold dear in this country and to begin the process of holding him and his corrupt administration accountable. While Trump's popularity levels are at historic lows, we can't be complacent heading into the midterms. We know they will try to cheat in all kinds of ways to win. Our best defense is MASSIVE AND EARLY DEM TURNOUT so that there are no narrow wins to be challenged and nothing left to chance. Let’s roll!
Thank you for being a part of IndiMarin's wonderful community of people committed to taking action to help create a more just, caring, and inclusive America.
