In six days, on July 17, people all across the country will gather together in honor of the late Rep. John Lewis to participate in the Good Trouble Lives On National Day of Action.
Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, "good trouble" means coming together to take non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.
Here in Marin, we have planned, together with local partners, another coordinated mobilization which will include protests at seven freeway overpasses from 4:30 - 6:00pm and a rally at Novato City Hall from 6 - 7pm. Choose your preferred location or plan to be on an overpass and then head to the Novato rally! Sign up for any of the Marin protests at this link.
We are also pleased to announce the launch of a new webpage, MarinResists.org. With thousands of Marin residents participating in protest actions, we hope to provide a clear path for all residents to join local groups to get involved in the ongoing resistance and electoral work. Please bookmark this page and share it with local friends and neighbors who are interested in ways to join the movement!
Thanks for all you are doing to help build a more just, caring and inclusive America.
