Dear wonderful IndiMarin volunteers,

We love the term, The Defiance, which is being used anew to describe the "Resistance 2.0" which is gaining momentum with each passing day and week. Courts, universities, elected Democrats and We the People are showing up daily in an organic, insistent, pressure campaign reflective of the movie title "Everything, Everywhere All at Once." Bravo to all of us who are taking action in our daily lives to defy the authoritarian takeover of our great country and the horrific harms being inflicted on so many Americans.

Also, remember that a key way to be part of The Defiance is available to all of us in our daily lives. ENGAGE with others, especially those who may be outside of your bubble. Openly listen to their points of view, and offer your own in a respectful manner. By each of us working to bridge the divides in our society, we can help fulfill our mission to help build a more just, caring and inclusive America.

Virtual: "What's the Plan?" - Thursdays at 12 PM PT - A weekly discussion with Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin. The chaos coming out of the White House is meant to overwhelm us. This weekly check-in with Leah and Ezra is an important way to come together in community to process what’s happening, sift through what’s important, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back. Virtual and ongoing: Hosted by Activate America - Call Voters in Swing Districts to Hold Republicans Accountable! Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET.
The purpose of these phone banks is to urge these Republican Members of Congress to grow a spine and use their Congressional “power of the purse” authority to repeal Trump’s disastrous tariffs. These phone banks are connecting with constituents in these five districts and enabling a “pass through” that allows them to directly call their Members of Congress. This kind of constituent feedback provides us with our greatest power to move them to action, as Congressional offices closely monitor the feedback they get within their districts.
