Our democracy is in crisis. The Trump Administration is moving towards fascism and the Congressional Republican majority refuses to perform its constitutional role of providing checks and balances to the executive branch.

We are not powerless. Congress works for us. It is critical to generate public pressure on Republican elected officials, especially in swing states or districts, to fulfill their constitutional responsibility. It is also important to let the Democratic minority members know that we expect them to be loud and strategic in their opposition.
