Indivisible Marin hosts “Advancing Social Justice: A Forum with Candidates for Marin County DA

Candidates Anna Pletcher, A.J. Brady, and Lori Frugoli will discuss their positions and answer questions on three important social justice issues:

1) Immigration - Is Marin operating in the spirit of Senate Bill 54 which made California a “sanctuary state” by legalizing and standardizing statewide non-cooperation policies between California law enforcement agencies and federal immigration authorities. If not, what steps need to be taken?

2) Environmental Justice - How can we best ensure the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all Marin residents with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies?

3) Racial Inequity - Marin Country ranks as the first most racially disparate county in California, according to the recent "Race Counts" study. How do you propose that we begin to improve this alarming ranking?
